The City of Mesa Police Department would like to thank you for your inquiry into providing a charitable donation. It is an invaluable service these courageous men and women provide to our communities, by donating to one of these charities you will be providing needed support to Police Members and their families.

Below is a list of charities that the Mesa Police Department partners with to receive donations that can be used for financial assistance for members and families, education, services, compassionate gifts, or repair and replacement of uniforms or equipment. Please review these charities so that you will be able to choose which charity will provide the gift you would like to give.

Mesa Police Benevolent Fund (MPBF)

The Mesa Police Benevolent Fund is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to current Mesa Police Department employees and their dependents. The MPBF Board is comprised of current Mesa Police Department employees and periodic recruitment is accomplished on a need only basis. Officer Assistance Fund (OAF)

The Mesa Police Association (MPA) Officer Assistance Fund is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating as an extension of the MPA to provide Mesa Police Department employees with financial assistance. Mesa Fraternal Order of Police (FOP)

The Mesa Fraternal Order of Police Charity Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that operates as an extension of Mesa FOP Lodge 9.  Our foundation is dedicated to assisting public safety professionals and their families in times of financial need.  Donations can be made at: https://mesafop.com/foundation/mesa-fop-lodge-9-charity-foundation or by mail at: Mesa FOP 9 Charity Foundation, 9855 E Southern Ave. PO Box 51629 Mesa, AZ 85208.

Mesa Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (MCPAAA)

MCPAAA members serve as good will ambassadors to the community for the Mesa Police Department. Both the Citizen Police Academy and the Alumni Association strive to increase public awareness and understanding of law enforcement, in an effort to help build a safer community through a partnership between informed citizens and those who protect and serve. General donations are welcome to help cover the expenses of other programs and efforts the Mesa Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association makes in assisting the Mesa Police Department and the local community. Mesa Police Cadet Program

The Mesa Police Cadet Program is dedicated to preparing young men and women between the ages of 14 and 21 for a career in law enforcement. It develops a fundamental understanding of police procedures, duties and concepts. As part of their training, Mesa Police Cadets participate in a wide variety of community service, while working with members of the police department. As a non-profit organization, Mesa Police Cadet Post #2055 is proud to accept your donation to help fund activities, such as helping them to attend conferences and competitions around the state and country. M.E.S.A. Program

The M.E.S.A. Program is a partnership between the Mesa Police Department and the Mesa Unified School District. The M.E.S.A. Program uses proactive and innovative techniques for positive redirection and empowerment with youth from diverse backgrounds. Programs focus on the needs of youth and parents from the community to build positive relationships with the police. The M.E.S.A. Program consists of an after-school program at Kino Junior High, radKids National Safety Education Program, Youth Leadership Academy, Police Activities League, and partner in Teen Court with Maricopa County Probation Department and Mesa Counts on College. As a non-profit organization, M.E.S.A. Program is proud to accept your donation to help fund activities and cover the cost of items such as physical fitness attire, equipment, and classroom needs. 100 Club of Arizona

The 100 Club of Arizona is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating over the past 50 years to provide immediate financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty, and to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare.
