G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods) has always been about fostering community ties and enhancing safety in communities and neighborhoods throughout the state of Arizona. G.A.I.N. started in 1998 as a cooler weather alternative to National Night Out, typically held in August. In 2024 we are taking G.A.I.N. to the next level and making it exclusive to the City of Mesa by introducing G.A.I.N. The Mesa Way.
G.A.I.N. The Mesa Way builds on our strong tradition of community involvement, expanding it into a year-round campaign. While we continue to celebrate our annual G.A.I.N. Day in November, we are now offering continuous engagement throughout the year with activities such as monthly topics, quarterly webinars, and more. This ensures that our community always stays connected and well informed no matter how they choose to participate.
G.A.I.N. Day in the City of Mesa
G.A.I.N. Day is Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 3PM – 7PM. Anyone that wants to build a stronger, safer community in Mesa is encouraged to host a party and participate in G.A.I.N. Day - apartment complexes, mobile home communities, businesses, residential areas, and more.
Click Here to register your G.A.I.N. party! All registered participants will receive a $25 Walmart gift card.
Registering your G.A.I.N. party on our website will allow police and other city departments to be aware of your event so we can make every effort to stop by. However, due to limited resources we cannot guarantee a visit, but we will do our best.
Everyone Can Participate in G.A.I.N. The Mesa Way
Keeping our communities safe is a collaborative effort, and the best way to start is by getting to know your neighbors. We recognize that not everyone has the time for in-person connections, so G.A.I.N. The Mesa Way is designed to be inclusive of everyone who wants to live, work, and play in a safe community. Whether you choose to connect in person or online, it’s up to you. Build positive relationships and bring back a sense of community by participating and getting involved the best way that works for you.
